It   is used to treat dry, irritated, or eczema-prone skin. It can also help with other skin conditions like psoriasis, ichthyosis, and xerosis. It is used as a base for ointments and creams. It can also be used to deliver active ingredients in topical medications. It can also be used to treat toenail fungus, dandruff, common colds, non-STD genital rashes, nose bleeds, and diaper rash
